Last week, I was in Rome with my family for a short break. Most days I would be boisterous, fun and full of energy. I was like the kid who sits at the back of the class cracking jokes all the time. However, one morning, I found myself silent, not saying much. My kids kept looking at me as if there was something wrong with me. I smiled and told them I was fine.
Sometimes when we have nothing to say, it’s okay to be silent. It’s like we are conditioned to fear silence.
Silence should be cherished.
Silence should be practiced.
Silence is the language of gods.
